The Lyke Wake Walk is a complete crossing of the North York Moors from the start stone just north of Osmotherley to the trig point by the radio mast at Ravenscar, or the additional mile to the bar at the Raven Hall Hotel, bringing the distance to approximately 40 miles. There is no official route and Bank House lies along the way from start to finish!
There are a number of cross-country cycle trails around the North York Moors National Park, including superb mountain biking routes in Dalby Forest for experts and beginners alike. Other cycle routes use dismantled railways such as trails at Rosedale and Farndale.
